Veterans Day 2026 near East Cobb: Marietta's parade Saturday, Nov. 14, at 10:40 a.m., a noon ceremony on the Square, a 5K, and Cobb closures Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Veterans Day is Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, and the big local tribute is Marietta’s Veterans Day parade on Saturday, Nov. 14. It steps off at 10:40 a.m. from Roswell Street Baptist Church, aims to reach Marietta Square at 11:11 a.m., and is followed by a noon ceremony in Glover Park. Marietta is about seven miles west of East Cobb. Cobb County offices and libraries close on Nov. 11.
Last checked Oct. 8, 2026. This page is updated each year at the same address. The parade date is on the city of Marietta’s 2026 event calendar, which marks it as an event the city does not run. Times and the route come from the Cobb Travel & Tourism listing, which points to American Legion Horace Orr Post 29, the organizer. Closures are from Cobb County’s holiday schedule and its library closure notice.
