Method

East Cobb has no city limits, so we searched the state database for food service permits with a Marietta mailing address and kept those in ZIP codes 30062, 30066, 30067 and 30068. The search returned 1,024 Marietta permits, of which 569 were in those ZIP codes; the database may hold more than one search returns, so treat the totals as a floor. School cafeterias and club kitchens are included because the state inspects them as food service. We report scores as the database shows them and add no judgment of our own. A business that wants to note a newer inspection can contact us.

What this means for you

  • Check a score before you go: search the state database by the restaurant’s name.
  • A B or C is a snapshot of one day. Open the report to see what the inspector found.
  • If you think you got sick from a meal, file the foodborne illness form so the health district can investigate.
