Black Friday is Friday, Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Saturday, Nov. 28. As of Oct. 5, no shopping center serving East Cobb had posted its 2026 Thanksgiving or Black Friday hours. We will add them here as each center publishes them.

Shopping centers and hours

Avenue East Cobb, 4475 Roswell Road. The open-air center lists general hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday, with store hours that vary (Avenue East Cobb contact page). It has surface parking off Roswell Road and eight Tesla Superchargers in the front lot (directions and parking). Its holiday season starts with The Lighting of Avenue East Cobb from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20. Parkaire Landing, 4880 Lower Roswell Road, home to a Kroger, restaurants, shops and the East Cobb Library (Parkaire Landing).

The malls. The two nearest enclosed malls list regular hours of 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Holiday hours will appear on their own pages:

• Cumberland Mall, 2860 Cumberland Mall, near I-75 and I-285. It offers curbside pickup in the food court lot and gift wrapping in the Christmas season.
• Perimeter Mall, 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody, about seven miles east.

Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28

The U.S. Small Business Administration and American Express promote the Saturday after Thanksgiving as the day to shop at independent businesses (SBA). East Cobb’s independent stores sit mostly in the strip centers along Roswell Road, Johnson Ferry Road, Lower Roswell Road and Sandy Plains Road. If your shop is planning a Small Business Saturday event, tell us and we will list it.

Holiday markets

• Fall Arts Market, Saturday, Nov. 14, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 15, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tim D. Lee Senior Center, 3332 Sandy Plains Road. Free, with local artists, handmade goods, holiday gifts and food trucks (county event page).
• Apple Annie Arts & Crafts Show, Friday, Dec. 4, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 5, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Catholic Church of St. Ann, 4905 Roswell Road. More than 100 local and regional artisans. Admission is $5, children 12 and under are free, strollers are not allowed, and parking and a shuttle are free. Proceeds go to local charities (St. Ann’s).
• Cobb PARKS Holiday Artisan Market, Cobb County Civic Center, 548 S. Marietta Parkway. The 2025 market ran Dec. 5-7 with more than 90 vendors and free admission (county news release). The 2026 dates are not out yet.
• Marietta Square Artisan Market, every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the square (market site).

Parking and traffic

Cobb County has not published holiday traffic or parking plans for East Cobb shopping centers. Expect the heaviest traffic on Roswell Road and Johnson Ferry Road on Black Friday and the Saturdays in December. Report a crash or a blocked road to Cobb County Police at 770-499-3900, or 911 in an emergency, and check our road construction and closures page before you go.
