An index of Cobb County public notices: hearings, code changes, tax sales and elections. The legal organ is the Marietta Daily Journal.

Last checked Oct. 5, 2026. This page is an index, not the official publication of any notice. Official legal notices for Cobb County are published in the county’s legal organ and on the agencies’ own pages, each linked below. We update this list weekly.

This is not the official notice. Georgia law requires many government notices, such as the county’s yearly property tax increase notice, to be published in the press. Legal notices run in each county’s legal organ, the newspaper chosen to carry them. For Cobb County that is the Marietta Daily Journal, according to the Georgia Press Association’s legal organ list (PDF). Notices from Georgia newspapers can be searched free at GeorgiaPublicNotice.com, which the press association runs.

East Cobb is unincorporated, so the notices that matter here come from Cobb County government, its elections board, its tax commissioner and the courts.
