Attendance zone
Zones are set by the district and do not follow ZIP codes. Check any address with the district’s school and bus locator, or open the district’s Pope zone map (PDF) from its attendance zones page. The district says its posted maps “do not preclude any future changes” and asks families not to make a home purchase based on them alone.
The district’s feeder pattern chart, updated June 30, 2024, lists these middle school zones feeding Pope High: Dodgen Middle (34% of its zone) and Hightower Trail Middle. Elementary schools whose students can end up at Pope High, from the same chart and the schools’ own feeder pages: Mountain View Elementary, Murdock Elementary, Shallowford Falls Elementary, Timber Ridge Elementary and Tritt Elementary.
We found no rezoning approved by the Board of Education that changes the Pope zone for 2026-27; the district’s posted zone maps are labeled 2022-23 for high schools and 2023-24 for middle and elementary schools.
