Attendance zone

Zones are set by the district and do not follow ZIP codes. Check any address with the district’s school and bus locator, or open the district’s McCleskey zone map (PDF) from its attendance zones page. The district says its posted maps “do not preclude any future changes” and asks families not to make a home purchase based on them alone.

The district’s feeder pattern chart, updated June 30, 2024, lists these elementary school zones feeding McCleskey Middle: Blackwell Elementary (37% of its zone), Keheley Elementary and Nicholson Elementary. The McCleskey zone is split at high school: 88% to Kell High and 12% to Sprayberry High.

We found no rezoning approved by the Board of Education that changes the McCleskey zone for 2026-27; the district’s posted zone maps are labeled 2022-23 for high schools and 2023-24 for middle and elementary schools.
