Addison Elementary’s 2025 CCRPI single score was 81.6, according to the state’s School Grades data. The Georgia average for elementary schools was 78.6 and the Cobb County School District’s was 76.0. The school scored 87.9 in 2023 and 88.7 in 2024. Scores can move a lot from one year to the next at a single school. The full report card, with subgroups and the parts of the score, is on the state’s Addison Elementary report card.
CCRPI is the Georgia Department of Education’s “comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform,” according to GaDOE. The single score runs from 0 to 100 and is built from content mastery, progress, closing gaps and readiness, plus graduation rate for high schools. Georgia does not publish an A-to-F letter grade for schools in its 2025 data.
Georgia Milestones end-of-grade tests, 2025, share of tested students scoring Proficient and Distinguished, the two upper achievement levels:
| Subject | Proficient | Distinguished |
|---|---|---|
| English language arts | 39.4% | 19.7% |
| Math | 34% | 35.5% |
| Science | 25.8% | 31.2% |
The same data put 61% of third graders and 64% of fifth graders reading at or above grade level.
Attendance zone
Zones are set by the district and do not follow ZIP codes. Check any address with the district’s school and bus locator, or open the district’s Addison zone map (PDF) from its attendance zones page. The district says its posted maps “do not preclude any future changes” and asks families not to make a home purchase based on them alone.
The Addison zone is split between middle schools. The district’s feeder pattern chart, updated June 30, 2024, sends 74% to Daniell Middle and 26% to Simpson Middle. Those middle schools feed Lassiter High or Sprayberry High, according to the same chart; the school locator gives the high school for an exact address.
We found no rezoning approved by the Board of Education that changes the Addison zone for 2026-27; the district’s posted zone maps are labeled 2022-23 for high schools and 2023-24 for middle and elementary schools.
