It starts at 10 a.m. at Roswell Street Baptist Church, runs west on Roswell Street, north on East Park Square past Glover Park, then down Cherokee Street to North Marietta Parkway. Entry applications open each Jan. 1; the 2026 deadline was 5 p.m. May 29.

Concert tables in Glover Park were $100 for eight seats and $80 for six in 2026, booked through JRM Management. Lawn space is free.

Fireworks at home: the rules

The Marietta Fire Department’s fireworks page summarizes the Georgia law that also applies in unincorporated Cobb:

  • Adults 18 and older may use consumer fireworks.
  • Allowed any day from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., and from midnight to 1 a.m. on Jan. 1.
  • Not from a road or public right of way, and not in any county or city park, historic site or recreation area without a special use permit.
  • Not within 100 yards of a hospital, nursing home, electric substation, gas station storing more than 500 gallons, water or wastewater plant, or airport.
  • Not while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Sky lanterns are illegal in Georgia.

A public display needs a permit under Title 25, Chapter 10 of the Georgia Code. In unincorporated Cobb, the Cobb County Fire Marshal’s Office handles special event permits; in a dry spell, check for a county burn ban before you light anything.
